Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CaptureCompass (the “Service”), operated by Arrington Innovative Solutions, LLC (“AIS,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you must not use the Service.

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old.

2. Nature of the Service

CaptureCompass is an AI content director for speakers and other experts. It suggests what to capture at professional events (photos, video, talking points, interviews), keeps a record of what you captured, and shows where your content coverage is light. The Service stores records about your content. It does not store your original photos or videos, which stay on your device.

CaptureCompass is an independent product of Arrington Innovative Solutions, LLC. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by any event, conference, organizer, venue, or training program where you use it, unless we say so in writing.

3. Free Pilot

• The Service is currently offered free of charge as a pilot. There is nothing to purchase.
• Daily limits apply to AI features (for example, AI Cues per day) to keep the Service available for everyone. Limits may change at our discretion.
• We may change, pause, or end the pilot or any feature. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you before anything is charged, and nothing will be charged without your agreement.
• Access may require an invitation code, which you may not share publicly or sell.

4. AI-Generated Content

Cues, talking points, ideas, and other suggestions are generated by artificial intelligence from the information you provide. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not right for your situation. You agree that:

• Suggestions are ideas, not professional, legal, or business advice, and should not be relied upon as such
• You decide what to film, say, publish, and share, and you are solely responsible for those decisions
• You will review AI-generated text before you use it publicly

5. Recording Other People and Places

You are responsible for what you capture and how you use it. You agree to:

• Get permission from people before you photograph, record, or interview them, and respect anyone who declines
• Follow the rules of the event, venue, and organizer, including any restrictions on photography or recording
• Comply with all applicable laws, including privacy, publicity, and recording-consent laws where you are
• Not capture or share confidential information, other people’s presentations, or content you do not have the right to use

The Service may offer tools to note who appears in a capture and to record a person’s permission. These tools are a convenience for your records. They are not legal advice and do not guarantee that a use is lawful.

6. Your Account and Responsibilities

By using the Service, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information when creating your account
• Keep your credentials confidential and tell us promptly about any unauthorized use
• Use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or abuse the Service or its AI features
• Not use the Service for any illegal, harmful, harassing, or abusive purpose

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all code, design, branding, logos (the CaptureCompass and AIS marks), content lanes, AI instructions, and proprietary methods, is the intellectual property of Arrington Innovative Solutions, LLC. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service.

You retain ownership of the content you create, including your captures, notes, and the photos and videos on your device. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and process the information you enter, and to process it with AI, solely to provide the Service to you.

8. Data Retention

Event records are kept for a limited time after each event and then deleted automatically. You can export your records before then. Details are in our Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ARRINGTON INNOVATIVE SOLUTIONS, LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Reliance on AI-generated content, suggestions, or coverage guidance
• Anything you capture, publish, or share, and any claim by a person you recorded
• Loss of data, including records deleted under our retention schedule
• Loss of profits, bookings, or business opportunities
• Service interruptions, errors, or downtime

YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK. The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Arrington Innovative Solutions, LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorney’s fees) arising from your use of the Service, the content you capture or share, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

11. Account Termination

You may delete your account and data at any time in Data & Privacy, or by contacting privacy@arringtonis.com. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate an account at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, including for misuse of the Service or an invitation code. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State in which Arrington Innovative Solutions, LLC is registered, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on this page. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
